The name 69th Street Productions honors our roots while looking boldly toward the future. Nestled in Upper Darby Township, just thirty minutes from Center City Philadelphia, our home sits within a vibrant, ever-evolving community of over 80,000 residents. More than eighty languages are spoken here, reflecting a rich tapestry of cultures that makes Upper Darby one of Pennsylvania’s most diverse communities.
At the historic heart of our township lies the 69th Street business district, anchored by the SEPTA 69th Street Terminal, where tens of thousands of commuters pass daily. Just steps away stands the iconic Tower Theater, built in 1927, once a vaudeville venue and now a celebrated concert hall. Named one of the ten best live music venues in America by Rolling Stone, the Tower has hosted legends such as Bruce Springsteen, David Bowie, Phil Collins, Jethro Tull, Bob Dylan, and countless others, its spire long a symbol of the community.
Many of our team members grew up in this working-class neighborhood, drawing inspiration from its rich cultural intersection and historic landmarks. These roots, combined with our passion for storytelling and community, are the foundation of 69th Street Productions. Carbonia, Sardinia - Tom Koveleskie (writer/producer) the creator of Newton, Knuckles, and the Wizard of Menlo Park scouting a location with Alessandro Tedde of Antropotopia Film Production & Post Production (Ravenna, Italy). Earlier in the week, they met with the Sardinian Film commission. Tom was accompanied by Eleftherios Kostans from 69th Street Productions. They spent the week touring the southwestern part of the Island around Carbonia.

Ambler, PA. - September 18, 2022. The red carpet film premiere "Recipes For Love" took place this past Sunday at the Ambler Theatre. The 45-minute reel featured various scenes from the five-part mini-series that brought on laughs throughout the evening.
The project was filmed this past March in and around the Philadelphia metropolitan area over ten days by 69th Street Productions of Upper Darby, Pennsylvania. Executive Producers Harry Karapalides and Eleftherios Kostans of 69th Street introduced the reel to a private audience of 100 guests from across the country. They also introduced Recipes For Love Director Mike Le and Producer Diana Carter of Panther Trail Films Production and Arykas and Ybots Public Relations Firm.
They thanked the actors from the mini-series, which featured a stellar cast that included Daniel Baldwin, Nicholas Turturro, Jennifer Butler, Barry Onody, Dawna Lee Heising, Will B, Bruce Soscia, and many others.
Recipes For Love Writer Teresa Warwick was also recognized during the evening and announced to the attendees that she is preparing season two of the mini-series. Shooting has not been announced yet, but Philadelphia is a buzz.
